Hello Ladies!!!!....
This week, the Lord had me talk about Fear, Anxiety and Discouragement. (Phil 4:6, 2 Tim 1:7, Deut. 1:21)
All these things are not from the Lord. You may be saying, “that’s a no brainer Lori”. But my question then is why are there so many walking with one, two or even all three? And what combats it?
In scripture, our Daddy is very clear that He did not give us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love and sound mind. (2 Tim 1:7). Praise God. Well Daddy said it…do you believe Him? Do your actions line up with THAT TRUTH?
It’s almost as though I can hear some saying, “Yeah, but you don’t know my life”. That’s right, I don’t…but Daddy does and Daddy didn’t have His Word just for me…but for you as well.
One of the revelations that God had given me was paying attention to when the disciples walked in power. It was when they remembered. They remembered what Jesus did and they remembered what Jesus said.
Remembering what He did and what He said, brings the TRUTH into our circumstances instead of our circumstances becoming our truth.
What can we do when these things come upon us.
(Phil 4:4) Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS, and again I say rejoice
(Phil 4:6,7) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
David did not say bless me oh Lord…David said, “Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, [bless] His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, AND FORGET NOT all His benefits”.
Do you see where David said and FORGET NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS?
Remembering is a key to walking in POWER…therefore taking us back to 2 Tim 1:7 that He did not give us a spirit of fear but one of POWER helps us to FORGET NOT…BUT REMEMBER!
Until next time ladies…take the opportunity to get to know your Daddy more. He adores you and He wants to walk with you.

Prayer and Fasting
Hello Ladies!!! It's official, I am up and running in the tech world. Oh MY!!!
Last nights class was centered around Mathew 17 and Mark 9...where the boy with seizures was healed. He was not healed however by the disciples that were given an opportunity by the boys father. His father brought him to the disciples but they were unable to heal the boy. Why?!
The disciples then asked Jesus, why is it that we could not cast the demon out.
Jesus replied..."because of your unbelief"! When Jesus explained to them that this kind comes out only through prayer and fasting...Was He speaking of the demon...or...was He was speaking of their unbelief.
If Jesus would have been talking about the demon...Wouldn't He then pray and fast before casting out the demon. But Jesus just commanded the demon to go and the boy was healed!
Do you fast? In the Bible it does not say "If you fast". It is very clear that it says "When you fast".
Fasting is something every believer needs to practice. Why? One of the reasons is clearly to help us in our "belief or unbelief". Obviously, when Jesus is talking to the disciples...He is talking to us as well. He is wanting a people that actually believe Him.
Is being skeptical of the Word of God a good thing? Absolutely Not! We get to be believers. A believers role is to believe. Does God see a body of believers who actually believe Him or who unfortunately doubt Him.
Which one are you?
